This creature from ancient Greece has the body of a snake, the head and torso of a woman, and clawed hands. Queen Lamia was cursed by Hera of the ancient gods for her dalliance with Zeus, she travels in secret, hiding her true nature in order to seduce young men, only to paralyse and eat them alive.
Many Lamioi (children of Lamia) are powerful magicians, able to weave illusions that not only hide their own hideous nature, but also disguise their surroundings as sumptuous mansions filled with servants and their putrid smell as fine perfumes.
